I went with my family. The hotel is very well located, near hyde park and the underground.
The confort of the rooms aren't the best but you can stay quite well. And the breakfast is very poor, and the same every day.

Una struttura simile non può essere catalogata fra gli hotel a tre stelle e meraviglia come le autorità locali abbiano consentito a ciò. Manca delle più elementari condizioni di sicurezza e messa a norma degli impianti, le camere non sono oscurabili e quindi all'alba si è svegli, pavimento ricoperto da vecchia moquette logora sporca e piena di macchie datate. L'acqua nel bagno veniva ricaricata dopo mezz'ora a causa di insufficiente pressione. La colazione è essenziale composta unicamente da pan carrè, marmellata e burro e uova sode con succhi imbevibili oltre a the e latte. Nessun dolce. Il personale non accoglieva le nostre richieste di cambio camera. La struutura era stata scelta per le caratteristiche rilevate in internet, tali caratteristiche si sono dimostrate assolutamente difformi dalla realtà. In reception non eravamo gli unici a lamentarci e abbiamo assistito ad altra clientela che ha addirittura pagato la penale per andarsene.

The breakfast was disappointing. Cold coffee, cold and too long boiled eggs, no fruit or yoghurt, broken table. The bed was covered by old fashioned blankets, which can cause allergetic reactions. There was no wardrobe in the room to store oure clothes in. The balcony door couldn't be locked properly because of a lack of maintenance.

They offer you the Ascott Hyde Park Hotel and once you are there they send you to another hotel of less quality, further of the city centre and with no other option rather than seay goodbye and look for another place to stay...rubish!!!

We slept in a kitchen - or at least it felt like it. Staff was rude and the hotel was very dirty. The towels in hour room had signs of escrements on them and there were no hot water for the whole time we stayed there. After 2 nights we had enough of this hotel and checked out and found another hotel. My advice to others: Don't stay here!

We booked a quad room and ended up with 2 dubbles in the annex! The rooms and toilets were very clean, but there were nowhere to put the clothes! Breakfast was surprisingly good. Staff at the reception not very polite, bad manners!
If you just want a place to sleep for a couple of nights, I would recommend it.

El hotel ocupa dos edificios diferentes. El que propiamente es el hotel (cuyo interior no he visto pero que si tiene ascensor)y el edificio de al lado en el que me tocó a mi la habitación cuyo acceso es através de otro portal distinto del del hotel. La escalera es super estrecha, no tiene ascensor (me tocó el último piso, creo que era un cuarto)y eso que la reserva la hice con dos meses y medio de antelación. La habitación estaba recientemente refomada a modo de apartahotel (en la misma habitación había una encimera de cocina con horno, lavadora, fregadero y armarios de cocina, todo nuevo). La habitación es pequeña, la cama de matrimonio lo ocupaba todo y casi no se podían habrir los armarios de la cocina por que las puertas pegaban el la cama. No hay armario para la ropa(sólo unas perchas en la pared)porque no hay sitio donde pornerlo. El baño no está mal. el lavabo pequeño. La ducha bien.
Para desayunar había que pasar al otro edificio. El comedor muy pequeño. Todos los dias hemos tenido que esperar para poder sentarnos y hacer cola para servirnos. El desayuno bastante pobre: café, té, leche (solo fría), zumo de naranja (no siempre), huevos duros, jamón de york y salami).
En fin, deja bastante que desear.

Idéal pour court séjour, hôtel bien situé, à côté de Paddington Station. Chambre propre, calme. Petit déjeuner correct, mais le local est très petit, très peu de tables et est situé au sous-sol.

Nonostante la descrizione dell'hotel nel sito non sia cosi' veritiera, consigliamo comunque questo hotel per chi si accontenta di un posto abbastanza pulito, vicinissimo alla metropolitana e dal costo non eccessivo per gli standard di Londra. Le camere sono piccole e' vero, ma per dormire sono piu' che sufficienti. Per quanto riguarda la colazione non aspettatevi chissa' quale buffet, il minimo indispensabile per chiudere il buco nello stomaco. La zona e' ottimale, tranquilla ma vicinissima al centro con la metropolitana. Noi ve lo consigliamo per il buon rapporto qualita' prezzo.

From the Gatwick airport it takes over an hour to get to the hotel. Other than that, it was okay. Good resturants surrounding the hotel.

Really close too Paddington station. Room is accapteble when you are there only for sleeping. There is a bad, but there is no plug for the bad: when asked for one, the (friendly) staff told us that they did not provide that services.

Breakfest room crowded around 8 a clock. Long waiting time for elevator. Only elevator to the fourth floor not to the fifth. In practice only one rescue way in case of fire.
